Summary:

Views of the RCA Manufacturing Co. plant in Camden, N.J. Depicts the assembly line and other production work for manufacturing radios and record albums. Shows classrooms, product testing, and plant inspection, as well as first aid procedures. Emphasis on RCA defense work, including awards for heroes, war bond contributions, and demonstrations focused on physical fitness for defense. Images illustrate men and women giving up their careers for defense work. Particular focus is on women in the RCA work force. Also shows employees recreating at weekly parties, entertainments provided for swing shift workers and the RCA Show at the Garden State Racetrack. Also contains an architectural rendering of the RCA Laboratories in Princeton, N.J. Illustrates research in sound and radio waves, and radio frequency current. Oversize depicts a performance given for the workers by local talent.
