- Summary:
- Portrays children on the first day of school. Shows children leaving the house, walking to school, waiting for the gates to open, and in the schoolyard. Shows jubiliant children on the last day of school. Portrays children's activities at the Chandler School sponsored by the Junior League, including band, quoits, and the arts. Depicts orphans and handicapped children on an outing to Atlantic City sponsored by the Knights of Columbus. Also portrays children participating in Children's Week festivities in Atlantic City. Depicts victims of infantile paralysis and orphans watching entertainment provided by the Variety Club. Includes a view of contestants in the Miss Philadelphia pageant.
