『북한의 국기지정문화재：사진으로 보는 북한국보유적」은 그동안 명확히 알려지지 않았던 북한의 국가지정문회재 중 국보유적에 대한 지정 목록을 입수하여 기존 지료와 새롭게 확보한 자료를 바탕으로 이루어졌습니다. 이 책의 구성은 북한의 국보유적에 대한 현황과 정보 제공에 중점을 두고 크게 세 부분으로 나누었습니다. 그 첫 번째는 도판편으로 193건의 국보유적에 대해 수집한 필름 자료들 중 가능한 많은 사진을 실어 유적 소개에 충실하려 하였습니다. 두 번째는 해설편으로 각 유적에 대한 해설을 수록하였으며, 세 번째는 목록편으로 각 유적명과 지정번호, 소재지, 시대, 유형, 크기 등을 사진과 함께 간단히 정리하여 전체 현황을 쉽게 파악 할 수 있게 하였습니다. - 〈『사진으로 보는 북한국보유적』을 펴내며〉 중에서 -.

『North Korea's National Flag-Designated Cultural Properties: North Korea's National Treasures in Pictures』 was created based on existing materials and newly acquired data by obtaining a list of national treasures among North Korea's state-designated cultural properties that were not clearly known until now. This book is divided into three major parts, focusing on providing status and information on North Korea's national treasures. The first is a plate version, in which we tried to faithfully introduce the ruins by including as many photos as possible from the film materials collected about the 193 national treasures. The second is an explanatory section that contains explanations for each ruin, and the third is a list that briefly organizes the name, designation number, location, era, type, size, etc. of each historic site with photos so that you can easily understand the overall status.
