- Includes government despatches, minutes of council, legislation and the establishment of settlements. There is a letter stating that Danes had control of St Johns, Virgin Islands. Letters insisting English assert rights to Virgin Islands, and that 'foreigners' should not be allowed to settle there; Danish subjects will be removed by force if they are outside of St Johns. Later despatches ask for 'friendly withdrawal' of Danish subjects from St Johns. Includes a petition from 'infant settlements' in Virgin Islands asking for more protection from the King against invasion.
