The complaints relate to the actions of British soldiers and sailors, especially those onboard men-of-war 'Galatea' and 'Nautilus'. Complaints relate to breaking into homes, obstructing whalers and fisherman, erecting forts on private land, as well as seizing, detaining, and destroying Bermudian ships.
