Description based on online resource (viewed on October 15, 2018).
There were two patterns to the cap badge. One simply bore the title 'Artists' and was produced in brass, white metal and black. The other one was larger and had the wording 'Artists Rifles' and was produced in brass and white metal. The latter is shown here. This unit later became the SAS.
