Summary:
Hard paste, experimental figure made using the Vauxhall moulds - flawed compared to hard. Female figure emblematic of Asia and one of the 'Four Continents'. Standing in contraposto position with right knee bent, wearing long robe. Hands hold covered vase (censor) on top of tree stump which merges with rocky background and base with scrollwork at front. The head of a camel emerges from this on the left hand side with a turban on the ground.
