- Description: Part of a series which consists of official outward correspondence dispatched by authorization of the Governor and Committee, including correspondence to the Governors of Rupert's Land and to Hudson's Bay Company commissioners in Canada. The correspondence deals with a variety of matters, such as commissions of appointment, management instructions, political relations with governments in Europe and North America, and Hudson's Bay Company's North American operations. Includes letters to Fort Albany, Moose Factory, York Fort and Prince of Wales Fort. Letters contain orders, instructions and directions.
