Description: A compilation of official and agency photographs relating to the American forces in the First World War. Themes include aviation training, the tour of inspection in France of American Secretary of War Newton D. Baker, a sight-seeing tour of Windsor Castle by a group of American officers and men, and portraits of military figures and recipients of military honours. Also included at the beginning of the album are manuscript descriptions of each photograph.
