- Description: Diary covering activities on the Italian Front. The battalion spend more time in the French sector of the Asiago Plateau observing the enemy. Brunskill's father dies in Dublin and he obtains special leave to return home. Brunskill arrives back in Italy during the final offensive to take the Austrian reserve lines and witnesses the devastation in Asiago. Includes a later postcript with photographs taken during the occupation of Montenegro and Albania during 1919.
