Summary:
Canon Pennyfather is found to be missing, and his disappearance has aroused Miss Marple's suspicions. Inspector Davy and his junior, Inspector Campbell, arrive and begin interrogating the staff. Davy and Miss Marple are reviewing the case when shots are heard outside the hotel. The police believe they have their man but Miss Marple suggests that the answer to everything actually lies in Ireland.
