• This handmade edition was published in commemoration of the 90th birth anniversary of the Holguin poet Lalita Curbelo Barberán. The book-art comprises close to 20 letters from prestigious intellectuals, addressed to Lalita. The writer Lourdes González, who was her editor and friend of the poet selected the texts. The paper of the cover was made with bougainvillea petals.
• This handmade book with with printed letterpress on handmade recycled paper with colotypes and monochromatic linotype prints, tread design, collage illus. pict. wrps., bound with saddle stich binding.with exposed stitched binding (Japanese bookbinding). Triptych covers with collage of tipped-in carboard illustrated sheets that closes with a brown string tied in a bow. Inserted one certificate of authentication sheet (22 x 13 cm), with publisher stamp in red and number of volume written by hand in black ink. The covers were printed with a collagraph made from coarse burlap; the sewing is a three-hole Japanese-style stab stitch using brown cord.
• La Casa Editora Cuadernos Papiro, especializada en libros-arte, ubicada en Holguin, Cuba, hace constar que usted posee el ejemplar No. ___ de una tirada de 50 ejemplares del libro-arte Palomas dibujadas con palabras (Cartas a Lalita Curbelo Barberán), impresos sobre papel hecho a mano. En cada hoja de papel se utilizaron técnicas tradicionales de elaboración, sin aditamentos químicos. El papel de su cubierta fue confeccionado con pétalos de buganvilias. La selección de textos estuvo a cargo de Lourdes González Herrero. El diseño y las ilustraciones mediate la técnica del grabado sobre linóleo, fueron realizadas por José Emilio Leyva Azze. La impresión de textos se realize en máquinas antiguas: Linotipo Mergenthaler Linotype Co. de 1900, prensas The Gordon and Price Co. de 1899, tipografía del siglo XVIII e impresión directa plano contra plano. Para hacer el papel de este libro no se dañó la naturaleza. Este Libro-Arte se terminó de imprimir en Cuadernos Papiro, el 10 de febrera de 2020. Dando fe de lo anterior.
