Boaventura de Sousa Santos's work explores the complexity of history, challenging the notion of a singular historical narrative. He argues that history is often perceived through conflicting social forces and emphasizes the importance of recognizing diverse perspectives, particularly those marginalized by colonialism and capitalism. The book is part of the 'Sur' collection, aiming to provide critical insights and methodological innovations from the Global South. It seeks to engage readers in understanding history as a multifaceted construct and encourages resistance against dominant narratives. The intended audience includes scholars and individuals interested in critical theory and decolonial studies. Generated by AI.
