"This English edition in three volumes of The Divine comedy by Dante Alighieri, translated by Robert and Jean Hollander, has been set in Centaur (VAL version) and printed in a limited edition of 500 numbered copies. The first seventy-five are accompanied by an extra suite of [100] illustrations numbered with roman numerals and boxed in a portfolio. The one hundred illustrations are by Monika Beisner. The paper is Gardapat Klassica by Cartiere del Garda. The books are bound in full cloth with a dust cover and are in cloth covered slipcase. The complete production has been carried out in Verona by Stamperia Valdonega Group"--Colophon.
