Summary:

The Atlas is a unique collection of cartographic, documentary, artistic, photographic, technical and material sources that visualize the historical memory of oil industrialization of Russia. The collection of museum institutions of state, corporate, university and academic profiles, which have subjects that reflect history, nature and temporality of oil and gas industrialization of the country over 300 years, from the reign of Emperor Peter the Great to the present, were used in the preparation to this publication. The Atlas is for a wide audience, including workers of museum institutions and libraries of Russia, teaching staff and university students, company workers in the fuel and energy complex, veterans of oil and gas industry, representatives of government authorities.

Атлас представляет собой уникальное собрание картографических, документальных, художественных, фотографических, технических и вещественных источников, визуализирующих историческую память о нефтегазовой истории России. К подготовке издания привлечены материалы Фондовых собраний музейных институций государственного, корпоративного, университетского и академического профилей, имеющих предметы, которые отражают историю, характер и темпоральность нефтяной и газовой индустриализации страны на протяжении 300 лет - от эпохи правления императора Петра Великого до современности. Атлас ориентирован для использования широкой аудиторией, в т. ч. сотрудниками музейных институций и библиотек России, преподавательским корпусом и студентами университетов, работниками компаний топливно-энергетического комплекса, ветеранами нефтегазовой отрасли, представителями органов власти.
