- Summary:
- Philipp Löhr (1711-1782), son of Johann Peter and Maria Katherina Löhr, married Anna Christina Hundhaeuser in 1741, and in 1749 the family immigrated from Germany (via Rotterdam) to Philadelphia, settling in Northampton County, Pennsylvania. Descendants (chiefly spelling the surname Lehr) and relatives lived in Pennsylvania, Ohio and elsewhere. Includes some ancestry in Germany and Switzerland.
