- Summary:
- The earliest known ancestor, Stacy McDaniel (d. bef. 1830), married Sally Lamb in 1799 in Virginia. His first child, Granger, was born in 1800 in Virginia before the family moved to Madison Co., Kentucky. Family helped settle Shelby Co., Tennessee in 1819. All of the McDaniel family from Shelby Co., Tenn., that moved to Arkansas in 1839/40 are a part of this family history.
