Illustrations are engraved on wood in color by Gerard Angiolini from paintings by Yves Brayer. 5,000 numbered copies have been printed on white vellum specially watermarked and classified ... A few proofs marked 'Artist's Proof' have also been printed and are reserved for the collaborators in this present edition. Printed off on April 15, 1956, on the Presses of Coulouma S.A."--Colophon.
