Satirical diary and Zionistic commentary (on Biblical, Jewish and historical themes, included portions called 'tractate'), on the daily life and routine of a member of the Jewish Brigade (sketches of daily activities in Latrūn [then in Jordan, today in the West Bank], Egypt (including posts in Suez and Tall al-Kabīr), and final descriptions of Brigade life in Fiuggi [Italy]; additionally describing and satirizing life as a soldier (with portions on life in the barracks, guardposts and watches, and conversations with comrades).
