Summary:

Mickey Miller's poetry is characterized by a deep philosophical gothic tone in the style of high modernism. Here you will find complex thoughts and ideas from Kierkegaard to Heidegger. This is imagist-collage poetry. However, it is worth noting that this is not a cold intellectual poetry that gives up emotion. It is precisely poetry that awakens an emotional heart and creates an intimate space with the reader. The deeper you dig into the poems, which mainly express the state of man in his habitat, urban or rural, there is always another house under the house and above the house another house, and inside the man another man full of desires and creatures. You feel that there is a mature voice here, the poet is in safe hands. It is extremely surprising that this is his debut book, until you, as a poetry reader, wonder to yourself where he was all these years and why he was absent from the world of literature.
