"Here ends the life of Richard Nash as written and revised by Oliver Goldsmith. The first edition was published the year after Nash's death. It was popular and went through two editions, but by some unaccountable reason it has been overlooked by nearly all editors of his works. This edition has been printed and published by the Blue Sky Press, Chicago, MCMIV: Limited to 100 copies on hand-made paper, and 25 copies on Japan vellum; this being number [blank]"--Colophon.
