Parentheses substituted for square brackets in imprint transcription.
First [68] p. have half-title: Paxton's Philadelphia annual advertiser, preceded by three plates, and contain assorted advertisements, many with illustrations.
Pages cxxiii have caption title: Paxton's Philadelphia register for 1819, and include registers of the United States and Philadelphia. Pages xcvii-cxxiii contain "A list of institutions, companies and societies."
Last [12] pages contain an almanac, printed from the setting of type used for the calendar pages of Poor Robin's almanac and the Washington almanac for 1819, both printed at Philadelphia by David Dickinson. The present copy is defective in having "1819" printed at head of the September-November pages with capital I's in place of the numeral 1. This error is corrected in the two almanacs.
