Summary:
This is a manuscript letter of Samuel Domjen, an ethnic Romanian priest from Transylvania and the first known Romanian to visit North America. It is addressed to James Logan, distinquished Philadelphia Quaker politician and scholar. In the letter, Domjen introduces himself to Logan, revealing that he was friends with local Anglican clergyman and politician Richard Peters. [from the HSP Deed of Gift]
