Summary:
Photocopied diary of Seeley, of Richarmond, Pa., member of Co. C. 150th Pennsylvania Volunteers, who was taken prisoner at Gettysburg and imprisoned by Cofederate soldiers at Andersonville, Va. The diary includes numerous prayers and Bible quotations, as well as a record of his correspondence with his wife. File also includes a brochure giving the history of the Confederate prison at Andersonville, and an obituary of James E. Davison, member of Co. I, 1oth Pennsylvania Reserves, who was wounded at Bull Run and died in 1899.
