Summary:
PA Land Choices: an educational guide is a manual of educational activities and information that promotes DCNR goals relating to Pennsylvania communities, local government, conservation of resources and the importance of civic responsibility and stewardship. The activities are developed for use with community groups, municipal officials, education leaders, and teachers in 5-12th grades through college. The goal is to empower people to make a difference in their communities by helping them understand the importance of nature, the role of local government in a democratic society, the choices of sustainable communities, the importance of conservation leadership, the the responsibility of citizenship and stewardship.
