- Summary:
- An article about a play by Ain Gordon, performed at Philadelphia's Painted Bride Arts Center, about John Fryer (who testified in disguise at the 1972 APA convention in Dallas stating "I am a homosexual. I am a psychiatrist."). His testimony lead the way to the APA taking homosexuality off of its list of psychiatric disorders. The Historical Society of Pennsylvania holds the John Fryer Papers. This play is based on the material from those papers.
