- This program was founded ca. 1989 by Episcopal Community Services, the health and human service agency of the Diocese of Pennsylvania. The program provides information for residents of the 24th, 25th, and 26th Police Districts on the structure and functions of the Philadelphia criminal justice system, and support services such as counseling and assistance in handling paperwork for victims of crimes. The program serves all races and ethnic group; the majority of its constitutency are Spanish speaking. The collection includes minutes, reports, client files, clippings, miscellaneous printed materials, and handbooks. In English and Spanish. Inventory available. Use restricted.
