The letter, dated "Jamaica. Withywood in the parish of Vere. June 30th. 1692", ends at p. 13. The remainder of the work is a religious dissertation upon the same subject.
For Tho. Parkhurst, at the Bible and three Crowns at the lower End of Cheapside, near Mercer's Chappel.
Sabin (no. 35559) quotes another issue (London ... Tho. Parkhurst ... 1693) and erroneously states it to be the original of the Dutch translation: Naauwkeurig verhaal ... Amsterdam, 1692. The latter is translated from "A full account of the late and dreadful earthquake at Port Royal in Jamaica; in two letters written by the minister of that place, from a-board the Granada in Port-Royal harbour. London, Printed for J. Tonson, 1692", which is not to be confused with the present account.
