- 朝鲜科举制度与中国科举制度一脉相承,实行了近千年,自成体系,留下了许多科举录一类的"文科榜目""司马榜目""杂科榜目"等."峤南科榜录"即是其中的代表作,为朝鲜峤南地区(又名岭南,即今庆尚南北道地区的统称)的科举人物名录,共有十卷,包括峤南科榜录龙榜三卷,峤南科榜录虎榜一卷,峤南科榜录司马榜一卷,峤南科榜录附录三卷,峤南科榜录世讲篇一卷,峤南科榜录补遗篇一卷.本书时间跨度上始太祖壬申年(一三九二),下至高宗丙午年(一九〇六),跨度几与李氏王朝等长;人物方面涉及峤南地区科举人物千余人,其中有许多重要的历史人物,比如金益精,卞季良,安止等著名诗人,文臣,每人名字之下大多附有其字,号,籍贯与职位等信息,有的可以直接看作是相关人物的一篇小传,每科考试也一并记录了试官姓名或试题内容.除此之外,"补遗篇"中还有本书编辑人员对全书所做的查漏补缺,勘正纠误,就让本书所载内容显得详而可信,信而有征.对学术研究而言,本书所收录的内容范围广泛,材料翔实,实属难能可贵的史料.
