- 本文以明代寺院经济为主题,对其进行了系统,全面的梳理和研究.本文首先论述了佛教在由元入明的时代背景下,佛教寺院的状况以及国家层面如何对其进行管理.之后分别从寺院的田产,商业活动,消费支出以及个案分析这几个方面,详细考察了明代寺院经济的状况.明政府以整顿,限制佛教为主的宗教政策,使佛教自入明起就受到一定的约束,其整体土地占有量及扩张能力已不能超越前代.明代寺院并未因明中后期商品经济大发展而广泛地让寺院经济在此方面转进.寺院经济之整体在明代已呈衰微之相,给明代寺院和僧人带来了沉重的生活压力.这一生活压力迫使明代僧人处于需要寻求经济来源又须引导佛教积极发展的矛盾中,造成了明代僧人的纠结与艰难.似可从明代寺院经济的不发达,为明代僧人趋于世俗化,明末丛林乱象找到部分原因.
