At a meeting of the Commissioners of Fairmount Park, held this day, the following minute and resolution was adopted, viz. : the Commissioners of Fairmount Park desire to record their appreciation of the filial devotion and public spirit of Miss Jeanette G. Springs in spending a considerable sum of money in beautifying one of the springs on the Wissahickon in the park, in memory of her deceased father, who was a daily visitor to the park and a lover of nature : resolved, that a copy of these minutes be sent to Miss Springs
