The collection contains 272 boxes of papers accumulated, from 1663 to 1972, by 9 generations of various members of the Jansen, Wistar, and Haines families, who lived at the Wyck estate, 6026 Germantown Avenue, in Germantown (Philadelphia, Pa.). The papers are arranged in 10 series: genealogy, correspondence, writings, financial materials, estate materials, legal materials, memorabilia, subject file, pictorial material, and oversized material. The physical collection can be found at the American Philosophical Society.
