- This is a manuscript of the court record and Beth Din judicial record for the appointment of Mosheh ben Shemuʼel Yaʻaḳov of Binswangen (Dillingen an der Donau), Germany, as rabbinical minister (moreh tsedeḳ) written by the Beth Din of Pinchas ben David Skutsch, head of Beth Din in Kriegshaber (today part of Augsburg, Germany; Skutsch was the rabbi in Kriegshaber following the death of his father in 1780). Instances of testimony recorded include verification to Mosheh's involvement at the exclusion of the memorial Kaddish in certain instances (including extending it to the High Holidays; ביטול הקדישים); additional hearings regarding the appointment of Mosheh ben Shemuʼel Yaʻaḳov include his presiding over financial and other cases (f. 5r-v) and the vote count (f. 6r-v). Document signed by presiding judges (f. 4v, 5v): Pinchas ben David Skutsch of Kriegshaber, Yaʻaḳov ben Yehoshuʻa Efraim of Buttenwiesen, and Leib ben Yoḥanan.
