Als jonge kunstenaar in de jaren 1960 keerde hij zich tegen de heersende trends van de conceptuele en geëngageerde kunst en een halve eeuw lang zou Tadeusz zich volledig toeleggen op het schilderen van het menselijk bestaan in al zijn schoonheid en complexiteit. Hij heeft onverschrokken, consistent en compromisloos zijn hele artistieke carrière het theater van het leven op grootse en spectaculaire wijze in verf vertaald. Het belang van Tadeusz? kunst en zijn ongelooflijke schildertalent werden al vroeg erkend in Duitsland.
