- This training title demonstrates Mental Disorder/Illness Symptom: Grandiose Delusions. Grandiose delusions are fantastical, beyond ordinary beliefs that people truly believe and cannot be persuaded otherwise. The beliefs include people believing that they have great political power, are famous, are wealthy, are omnipotent, have supernatural powers, have great religious powers, or believing any other fantastic, impossible traits about themselves. Grandiose delusions are most often seen in mania and schizophrenia.
