Summary:
In this portion of the depression assessment, we learn that Nathan has lost interest in food and frequently forgets to eat. Nathan finds this to be a change in his normal appetite, which has resulted in the loss of approximately 15 pounds over the last year. In terms of sleep, Nathan finds he doesn’t need much sleep and has a hard time falling to sleep, often taking long walks in order to tire himself out. This inability to sleep along with persistent thoughts has led to a lack of energy. This poor sleeping pattern also coincides with a broader shift in his mood.
