- A depressed young woman is refusing to take her diabetic, hypertensive, and asthma medications, identifying with her deceased sister who died from cancer four months ago. The young woman says that she should not continue with life since her sister was denied that choice. She claims she does not deserve pleasure or help and says she feels worthless. She denies being suicidal, saying that instead she will wait in darkness until her time comes. She is resistant to any help, preferring to not participate in life.
