- This is a manuscript written originally on the front endpaper of a printed volume presented to Jeremiah Samuel Hillesum (1820-1888, rabbi in Meppel after 1849, later overseeing Drenthe, Groningen, Gelderland, and Overjissel) by Jakob Kantens, a childhood friend likely on occasion of Hillesum's assuming additional districts in his rabbinate. Eight lines of verse introducing the presentation are centered and vocalized; additional eight lines with the presentation text below. Chronogram is false (each letter highlighted; ולפרט בא יבא משיח צדקנו לפ"ק); Kantens signature at lower left.
