- This is a manuscript ketubah filled in on the printed ketubah form of the Istanbul Chief Rabbinate (Hahambaşı) for the marriage of Avraham ben Eliyahu Ha-kohen and Lorah bat Eliah Esṭrogo in Galata (today Karaköy, the northern part of the Golden Horn in Istanbul); ketubah written on 30 Tishre 5683 (October 22, 1922); additional notarial records (in Judeo-Turkish) recording the marriage (lower left corner). Rabbinical signatures below ketubah; notary signature on three postage stamps, with "Constantinople, le 22 Octobre 1922" written across; stamped in center (faded).
