- Kislak Center copy has bound in at end of volume [24] pages of manuscript remedies and horticultural notes in an 18th-century hand (see notes on remedies prescribed to the author on 21 May 1771, 26 July 1771, and 12 June 1772 on page [14]). "Through its frequent topographical references ... we learn our compiler likely lived near the Derbyshire village of Scropton."--Bookseller's description.
