"Advertisement for the theriac made and offered for sale in 1697 by Christoph Harder in Schaffhausen, now Switzerland. Christoph Harder II was the son of the physician Christoph Harder. He opened his own pharmacy in Schaffhausen in 1682 and his father always recommended his medications and chemical preparations. In some contemporary document we also find out that the Basel doctor Theodor Zwinger was one of his customers."--Vendor's description.
