- The International Conference on Actual Problems of Organic Chemistry and Biotechnology was held on 18-21 November 2020 at Ural Federal University, Yekaterinburg, Russia. The conference was focused on fundamental and applied aspects of both Organic Chemistry and Biotechnology such as directed synthesis of biologically active molecules, catalytic processes, organic materials for optoelectronics and sensorics. Topical problems in the field of industrial, agricultural, immuno- and nanobiotechnology, genetic engineering and biocatalysis, biotechnology of food products, biologically active substances and drugs, as well as issues of preclinical testing of biotechnological products were also discussed.
