- The 16th International Conference on Industrial Manufacturing and Metallurgy (ICIMM 2021) was organized at the Nizhny Tagil Technological Institute (branch) of the Ural Federal University (Russia). The conference has been taking place every 2 years since 1990. The main aim of the conference has been the improvement of communication between scientists and industry representatives for the introduction of new ideas and technologies. In 2021, the International scientific committee included scientists and practitioners from Austria, France, Belgium, Estonia, Canada, Ukraine, Egypt, Kazakhstan, Russia, Thailand and Saudi Arabia. The main partner and co-organizer of the conference was EVRAZ-NTMK JSC a large metallurgical enterprise in Nizhny Tagil. The main conference topics were: Ferrous and Non-ferrous Metallurgy, Steels and Alloys, Mining and Mineral processing, Industrial Equipment and Machinery, Manufacturing Engineering, Transport and Technological Machines, Additive Manufacturing, Mechatronics and Robotics, Industrial Information Systems and Technologies, Industry 4.0.
