Kislak Center copy has laid in: paper slip (88 x 60 mm) with 18th-century(?) woodcut of the angel Gabriel holding a spray of lilies beneath the Holy Spirit (a dove in a glory) and the Virgin Mary kneeling beside a round table with a cloven foot on which rests an open book (caption: L'Annonciation de l'Ange a la Ste Vierge); paper slip (98 x 78 mm; portion of tail edge torn off) with hand-colored woodcut of the Holy Spirit (a dove in a glory emitting tongues of fire), flanked by 2 groups of 3 cherub heads with wings, above a flaming heart with wings inscribed CARITAS hovering above a border of flowers and greenery; paper slip (65 x 40 mm) torn from a printed leaf (corner of type ornament border surrounding 2 lines of text: . 2 . 2); printed paper slip (53 x 76 mm) with ornamental woodcut border surrounding 2 columns of text (left column: indulgenced intercessory prayer, with the name of the intercessor "S[eñ]or. de S[an]ta. Ferera" supplied in manuscript; right column: indulgenced prayer for the soul of a person, with the name "Josefa Villanueba" supplied in manuscript) headed: Rifa general de todos los Santos y de las Animas, para est año de 1850; printed paper slip (18 x 68 mm) which reads: *Comulgó en la Parroquia de la Stâ. Veracruz, año de mil ochocientos veinte y siete; manuscript leaf containing a portion of a letter signed "J. Equerra" and dated 20 July 1850 regarding the debts of a deceased woman for which "Jurgado" is responsible; portion of a manuscript leaf containing a note(?) dated 7 September addressed to "madrecita mia de mi corason".
