The arch fiend, or, The life, confession and execution of Green H. Long : the arch fiend among desperadoes, who was a member of that celebrated gang, known as the "Banditti of the West," and traveled through the Middle, Western, and Southern States, with Hiram Birchead, a notorious English burglar, robbing, counterfeiting, forging, horse-stealing, negro stealing, house burning, gambling, passing counterfeit money, and murdering, carrying devastation, misery, and death, wherever he went, for the space of eleven years, and was finally brought to the gallows, July 27, 1851, for the terrible murder of Col. Darcy, and his two lovely daughters, Beatrice and Juliet, Little Rock, Ark.
