- Summary:
- Yemenite manuscript copy of Maimonides' commentary to Avot, in the Judeo-Arabic original; the complete introduction is present in this manuscript (also known as Shemoneh peraḳim, שמונה פרקים להרמב"ם), as well as most of chapter 1. Written in a Yemenite semicursive script, possibly by a scribe; captions written in a Yemenite square script; catchwords on lower recto and verso; some flourishes above certain words (such as on f. 4r). Written in laid paper (with watermarks toward the beginning and end of the manuscript); blind-ruled on columns; final text "על שלשה דברים העולם קיים על". Bound in contemporary patterned boards; black tape spine; ink spill (f. 17v).
