- Text in Hebrew, with sentences of instruction in Judeo-Arabic.
- Summary:
- Personal manuscript book for officiant for weddings and circumcisions, in Yemen; laws and instructions precede the ceremonies, and the wedding ceremony contains an address with blessings to the couple ("ועליך החתן הזה יתקיים מ"ש ה' בעזך ישמח מלך..", and each connected paragraph of the oration begins with ועליך החתן). The circumcision ceremony contains an oration as well (with select sentences partially vocalized with the Babylonian supra-linear vocalization; "אלופים שאננים כלל שרי עברים השונים בהלכות במסכתות וסדרים וכל טעמי התורה ודקדוקי סופרים..."; identified by the scribe as authored by Shelomoh ben Salem; f. 6v-7r). Three contemporary notes in different hands are bound in to the end of the manuscript (additional piyutim). Bound in contemporary faux-leather boards (spine blind-tooled; panel with the Decalogue on back board, bound upside-down; boards worn, chipped, and corners rounded from use).
