- Based on a radio documentary first broadcast in October 1988. Deals with the Australian attitude toward Jewish immigration before and after the Second World War. Examines the government's immigration policies, society's attitude toward immigrants, and the stance of the Jewish communities. At first, all three were reluctant to admit refugees from continental Europe. However, after the war the attitudes improved.
