Additional Information: Inagawan Sub-Colony (subs. to Iwahig Pend colony - near Puerto Princessa) located 54-55 km south of Puerto Princessa. Contact through chief of Police, Aborlan, Manuel de la Pena; chief of sub-colony = Yadao, Pedro (Penal supervisor). Most of the men already knew how to play before coming; some learned after coming. Learning is from one another - mainly from Maestro Badayo who has been the leader for 6 years, was in turn taught by his predecessors. Rehearsals: Saturday only. Extra rehearsals for special events such as Holy Week. Often perform outside the colony Aborlan, Nara, Puerto Princessa. None of the men read music.
