Summary:
Miscellany of bound manuscript fascicles mostly of extraliturgical content, originating in Morocco. The first fascicle is composed of various piyutim in a specific custom, written in a variety of Solitreo scripts, circa late 19th century; the second fascicle is of the Midrash ʻAśeret ha-dibrot (Ten Commandments), in a Judeo-Arabic translation (written on earlier paper, in Moroccan cursive script, with captions in a Moroccan square script (many paragraphs open with "הדרניאל" or "אלכלמא", including a decorated caption on f. 42r), circa 1800); Sabbath piyutim and bakashot (f. 63r-83v), written in Moroccan cursive script, with calligraphic attributions and instructions written with each piyut, circa 1820 (f. 58r-61r) and a Judeo-Arabic setting of the Tasbih (a repetitive glorifying poem to God; this manuscript begins "צובחאן אלאה צובחאן לילאה..."; f. 84v), in a Moroccan cursive script, circa 1850.
